New Look, New Price: Why Smarter Packaging is a Win for Everyone

We have some exciting news to share about our Mallow range. If you’ve spotted a fresh look on our digital shelves recently, it isn’t just a makeover, it’s a strategic shift designed to benefit the planet and your pocket.

We’ve officially transitioned to Pillow Packs for our favourites: Vegantics and Mini Mallows. While the “New Look” is great, the “New Price” and the sustainability story behind it are what we are most proud of.

Streamlining for the Planet

As a certified B Corp, we don’t just rest on our laurels; we are constantly looking for ways to improve our impact. Previously, our production and packaging often happened in different locations. By switching to pillow packs, we have moved our packaging process right to the heart of where production happens.

This change has allowed us to:

• Slash Transit Emissions: We’ve removed a significant leg of the transport journey, drastically reducing our carbon footprint.
• Support Cleaner Manufacturing: This shift complements our existing green infrastructure, including our wind turbine and solar thermal panels.
• Lead by Example: We want to show other brands that sustainable supply chain choices are both possible and commercially viable.

Passing the Savings to You

Usually, “innovation” in the food industry comes with a higher price tag. We wanted to do the opposite. Because packaging at the source is more efficient and cheaper for us to manage, we’ve made the decision to lower our prices for you.

Same Mallows, Smarter Value

The recipe hasn’t changed. Our mallows are still 100% plant-based, gelatine-free, and suitable for everyone. They just now come in packaging that reflects our commitment to being “innovators, not imitators”.
